Wonder Woman Coming to NBC

David E. Kelley’s latest script was thought to be headed back development hell, but Robert Greenblatt, the new chairman of NBC, has decided to pick up Kelley’s Wonder Woman pilot. While the network had passed on the script the weekend before, the new regime, which came as part of Comcast’s acquisition of the network, was not yet in place. Greenblatt himself is well known for breathing new life into Showtime by introducing the award-winning shows Dexter and Weeds. According to Entertainment Weekly, “Kelley’s take incorporated the superhero’s signature lasso, cuffs, and plane in the script, and insiders said it was a serious, non-campy take on the DC Comics character.” With rumors that Charlie’s Angels director McG is in the running to direct the pilot, it looks like this could be quite the explosive pilot!

Bane Faces Off Against Young Justice
 
Ever since the announcement that Tom Hardy will be portraying Bane in The Dark Knight Rises, everyone seems to be talking about the villainous brute. However, before you see how Bane fares against Batman, see him take on Robin and the rest of Young Justice in tonight’s new episode “Drop Zone”.  Watch a couple preview clips after the jump!

Hathaway Finds Photoshop Purr-fection
 
Mere days after being cast in The Dark Knight Rises, fan-made images of the Anne Hathaway as Catwoman began to surface. One picture in particular is quite fetching, showing Hathaway in one of the more recent versions of the Catwoman costume, which features a tight body suit, a short-eared cowl, and classy nightvision goggles:
