Daredevil Reboot Officially Announced
Clockwise from top: Pattinson, Cooper, Hedlund, and Hall
have all been mentioned as contenders for the role
of Matt Murdock/Daredevil
The Man Without Fear is coming back to the silver screen! Earlier this week, director David Slade (30 Days of Night, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse) was revealed as the helmer for the new film. In the days since the announcement, rumors have been pouring in. It is still unclear whether this will be a continuation of the 2003 Ben Affleck fiasco that very nearly killed the property or a full reboot of the series, but is has been stated that the film will feature a brand new cast. Bradley Cooper, Robert Pattinson, and Garret Hedlund are all rumored as contenders for the role of Matt Murdock/Daredevil. This is the third superhero franchise that Cooper has been linked to, after auditioning for Hal Jordan/Green Lantern and reports that he is interested in taking on the Flash, while Hedlund previously turned down the role of Captain America. Slade and Pattinson previously worked together in The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. Personally, I like Cooper best for the role, although I’ve always thought Dexter‘s Michael C. Hall would work perfectly as Matt Murdock. Stay tuned for more on everyone’s favorite blind hero!

Who do you think should play Matt Murdock/Daredevil?
