Cover Art and More For Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United

If you, like us, are feeling pretty bummed about Mark Ruffalo‘s Hulk not getting his own MCU standalone for at least another two years, then you might be happy to hear that animated feature Marvel’s Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United is due out on December 3rd (despite the trailer saying April).

The official synopsis runs thus:

The Invincible Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk join forces to save the Earth from its greatest threat yet! When two Hydra scientists try to supercharge a Stark Arc Reactor with Hulk’s Gamma Energy, they unleash a being of pure electricity called Zzzax – and he’s hungry for destruction. Together, Iron Man and Hulk are the only force that stands in the way of the Zzzax’s planetary blackout. But first the super heroic duo will have to get through snarling Wendigos, deadly robots and the scaly powerhouse, Abomination. Can two of Marvel’s mightiest heroes find a way to work together without smashing each other before time runs out?

Adrian Pasdar of Heroes fame will be voicing ole Shellhead while prolific voice actor Fred Tatasciore will be pulling double duties as The Hulk and his alter-ego Bruce Banner. Antagonist Zzzax will be voiced by Dee Bradley Baker. With Shane Black‘s live-action Iron Man 3 due out on April 26th, it’s guaranteed we’ll be seeing a lot of Tony Stark this year.

Marvel’s Iron Man and Hulk: Heroes United will be released simultaneously on DVD, BluRay, and for digital download. Till then, here’s the trailer.
