DC Brings Batman Beyond, Justice League to Netflix Instant

Written by William Donald

Earlier this year, it was reported that a new agreement with Warner Bros. would bring the popular (and sadly just cancelled) Green Lantern: The Animated Series to Netflix Instant. Sadly it’s looking like that series’ entrance into the online video service has been delayed, but DC fans won’t be disappointed for long. Starting this month, Netflix will see Batman Beyond, Justice League, Justice League Unlimited, and Batman: The Brave and the Bold join their list of streamable programs.

These four shows, along with a slew of other Warner Bros. and Adult Swim series, will appear on Netflix Instant starting March 30th as part of a multi-year deal the Warner Bros. Television Group made with the popular video streaming company earlier this year.

For now, the site will stream all of Batman Beyond and Justice League, the first two seasons of Justice League Unlimited (which runs through the Cadmus arc), and the first season of Batman: The Brave and the Bold, though it’s possible that later seasons will be added to the service in the future. All in all, great news for fans of the DCAU.

Now if we can just get Static Shock and Batman: the Animated Series thrown in too…
