Last week, we revealed our top choices for actors we’d like to see play Deadpool. Despite Scott putting together a rather killer list, Ryan Reynolds is, has been, and always will be my number one choice to play the Merc with a Mouth. I stood by him even after the disaster that was X-Men Origins: Wolverine. And I stood by him after the film was dumped into development hell for years. And I even stood by him after the absolute clusterf**k that was Green Lantern. And after all that, it looks like I might never get to see Reynolds in the role.
Until now. Thanks to our friends at SuperheroReport, we’ve got a leaked version of the test footage that was aired at San Diego Comic-Con a couple years back. It’s been confirmed that Reynolds did both the voice and the motion capture for mostly CGI incarnation. Check out the clip below!
