Neal Adams is a comic book artist who has worked for both DC Comics and Marvel Comics during his 50 plus years working in the industry. He is probably best known for his work with Dennis O’Neil in the 1970’s, during which time he brought a fresh approach to DC Comics Green Lantern and Green Arrow, as well as helping to bring Batman back to his darker routes in the wake of the colourful approach that came with the William Dosier/Adam West Batman TV Series. Away from the comic pages, he also became a strong advocate of creator rights, and helped to secure recognition and pensions for Superman creators, Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.

The True Believers Comic Festival will be held at Cheltenham Racecourse on Saturday 7th February 2015. It is a new comic book event for the Gloucestershire area that will celebrate everything people love about comic books, from the writers, artists and creators to the traders, fans and cosplayers.

The guests for True Believers include Nich Angell, Dylan Teague, Kate Brown, Laurence Campbell, Mike Collins, Jon Lock, Lee Garbett, Lee Townsend, Jackademus and Emma Vieceli along with comic book legend NEAL ADAMS who will be appearing as our Guest Of Honour on the day.
