6 Heroes For The DC TV Universe

I would like to start by saying I’m going on the assumption that Arrow, The Flash and Supergirl are set in the same universe, no matter what certain producers on the shows say.

Over the last few years TV shows based on comics have been massive hits for their networks, and us lucky nerds are just going to get more. Of course the more shows we get the more of our favourite characters are going to be hitting the small screen, many of them for the first time. With the likes of Martian Manhunter, The Atom and Hawkgirl turning up across the Arrowverse shows, I was thinking of which other DC heroes would make good additions. Here are a few of my picks.

6. Steel: Supergirl

John Henry Irons is a literal Man Of Steel. Having stood in for Supes when Krypton’s most famous son was out of action. Irons could work for the DEO inventing ways to tackle the alien threats invading earth. With Kara taking a beating from her aunt, John Henry has to don his armoured suit and join the fight. With the likelihood of Superman himself ever appearing on the show properly being very slim, Steel can come in and do everything Clark can do without costing the earth.

5. Dick Grayson: Arrow

Just as with Superman in Supergirl the likelihood of ever seeing Bruce Wayne in the Arrowverse is very slim, the former Boy Wonder however? So if Superman has been around for a while it’s safe to assume Batman has as well, and that Dick Grayson would have grown out of his Robin persona. While there have been a few mentions of Bludhaven in Arrow, I would rather not have Nightwing, but Grayson as an Agent Of Spyral who are trying to take down ARGUS after Amanda Waller turns her Suicide Squad loose against the wrong Government.

4. Jonah Hex: Flash

With Legends Of Tomorrow opening up the universe for time travel or even the Flash’s own dimensional rift, I think it’s about time we rinsed Josh Brolin‘s Jonah Hex out of our mind. Having the scarred bounty hunter coming through the rift to claim a bounty, this could start him at odds with Barry and the Star Labs gang but eventually the two would come together to take down the villain Hex is chasing.
