Power For Good Calendar Contest

2017 Charity Calendar

For our second print calendar, AP2HYC is joining forces with the Anti-Bullying Alliance (ABA) to bring you some brand new superheroes!

In support of Anti-Bullying Week, the calendar will feature drawings by kids of themselves as superheroes and be used to raise funds for the ABA.

The theme of this year’s calendar is “Power For Good”, the same theme as Anti-Bullying Week. We’re asking kids around the world to show us their powers and how they’ll use them for good as a hero.

AP2HYC is currently running an IndieGoGo campaign to raise funds to cover the production costs of the calendar.  We will donate 10% of all funds raised both in the IndieGogo and by selling the calendar at Anti-Bullying events to the ABA.

The calendar will be available to bulk-order so members of the public can sell it at their own Anti-Bullying Week fundraisers. It  will also be available for purchase online and in local comic book stores.

Show us your Power for Good!

We are holding an open competition so children around the world can submit their artwork for a chance to be featured in the calendar.

Anyone age 16 or under is eligible to enter. Simply draw yourself as an original superhero on a white A4 piece of paper. Be sure to include the superhero’s name and powers!

Grand prize

12 winners will be selected to have their drawings featured in the “Power for Good” calendar.

There will be 1″Young People’s Choice” winner who will be selected by the ABA’s Young People’s Board.

The remaining 11 winners will be selected by AP2HYC’s own superhero experts.

We have 12 professional artists who will reinterpret the original drawings, breathing new life into the kids’ characters. Both images will appear side by side in the calendar.
