We have comics full of war and suffering. Between World War Tank Girl and Anno Dracula, there’s at least something here that’s sure to capture your interest!

The following titles are available for purchase June 21st either through comic retailers or Titan Comics themselves!

Anno Dracula #4

3

Things get heated between the group of conspirators as Sunday reveals his plan to blow up the Tower of London at the Jubilee Dracula will be attending. While some are for this plan, others see it as a ludicrous and risky operation. With the traitor still in their midst, tensions rise as they try to piece together who’s plan they should follow and who is the traitor among them. There are twists with each turn as the plot thickens.  The tension in this issue is particularly entertaining and if you’ve been reading the series thus far, you definitely don’t want to miss this one!

Tank Girl: World War Tank Girl #3

2

Sub Girl has landed behind enemy lines and its up the group to rescue her in this issue of Tank Girl. But just who are they going to convince to go up against the Nazis? And will they find Sub Girl and, if so, will they convince her to go back to the future with them? Full of ultra violence and witty banter, Tank Girl is always an absolute pleasure to read. The artwork continues to mimic the style and colors of old comic books and gives the issue an extra detail that really shines through. The way the group solves the problem of assembling a team to go up against the Nazis is particularly clever and entertaining. In fact, I would say it’s the highlight of the issue. If you’re a fan of Tank Girl, you’re definitely going to want to check this one out.

The Forever War #5

1

This series is always a joy to read. With Mandella and Marygay separated to different parts of the war, our hero finds himself completely and utterly alone. As the war and future continues, he becomes more and more isolated. Again, the social commentary within this series is absolutely amazing and perfectly fits with a lot of today’s social and political issues. It’s bleak, with little hope in sight and reflects society’s current feelings of hopelessness. With little to no hope of any happiness in his future, Mandella continues to lead his new comrades forward as the war progresses.

Doctor Who: Twelfth Doctor Year 3 #4

5

It’s up to Hattie to save the Doctor as he dragged into the depths! The adventures of the Twelfth Doctor continue in this fun adventure. From the very beginning, the artwork stands out in this story. The underwater sequences are particularly impressive as the issue goes on with its use of dark colors and detail. The arc is finished by the end of the issue and it’s an overall fun, quick story. If you want to enjoy more of Peter Capaldi’s Doctor before he says goodbye, this is the issue to invest in.

All the above comics are available through Titan Comics now. Get your copy of your favourite titles today!
