AP2HYC: Are you a fan of the genre?

Green: I’ve been a huge fan of the action, sci-fi, and superhero genre ever since I was little. I use to have my wall littered with pictures of my favorite superheroes, action movies, and sci-fi movies

APTHYC: Is this a story that’s been in your mind for a long time?

Green: This story has been in my mind for 3 years.

AP2HYC: So I understand that this is a superhero film but not in the traditional sense?

Green: Yes, this is a superhero film but not in the traditional sense because these individuals are more humanized. They don’t have magic or super powers to make them your traditional “superhero”, so in a sense they can be you or I. BUT they do possess other tremendous skills that most other humans don’t have, which you will find out in the film.

AP2HYC: Story-wise, are you going for a traditional superhero route of “heroes stop villain” and save the world or is there more to it than that?

Green: I’m going a different route. There is definitely more to it than that. In my script, I focus more on the story and relationships in the story. I also focus on unity, family, morals, trust and a lot of other aspects that no other movies in this genre focus on.

AP2HYC: Does this take place in a world where superheroes are the norm or is the world closer to reality?

Green: The world is closer to reality.

AP2HYC: Can you talk about the titular family?

Green: The family is made up of 5 characters: Chance, Jordyn, Titus, Kain and Payton. They are a diverse group of adopted siblings with different personalities and unique skill sets.

AP2HYC: And can you talk about the villains?

Green: The villain Todlich, is a very evil individual. He has no remorse, no consideration for life and will get rid of anyone who’s in his way of his plans.

AP2HYC: Do you plan a lot of action sequences and VFX?

Green: Yes, I have lots of action sequences and some VFX to make it pop.

AP2HYC: Can you tell us about the cast?

Green: The big names we currently have on board are Natalie Burn (Expendables 3), Daniel Moncada (Breaking Bad), and Aleks Paunovic (This Means War).

AP2HYC: When do you plan to film?

Green: I’m planning on filming tentatively around Jan/Feb 2016.

AP2HYC:Who do you think will be the main audience for A Family’s Fury? Will it be enjoyed by hardcore superhero fans in addition to other movie-goers?

Green: With my project, I think I will cover both audiences. Hardcore superhero fans as well as your basic action and sci-fi movie-goers will definitely enjoy the film.

AP2HYC: What has been the biggest challenge for you in the process of making this film, and what is your ultimate goal with the film?

Green: As with many independent films, it’s funding. Making an independent film isn’t easy. It takes a story, dedicated cast and crew, ambition, creativity, and MONEY. A lot of independent films never get the chance to succeed due to not getting backing from the big studios or not finding investors. That is why I have launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise more funds for this great project.
