There’s plenty of stories this week that are mostly of the space kind. From Doctor Who to Robotech, we’re looking into the future with these issue releases. Below you’ll find short reviews of what Titan Comics has coming your way.
The following titles are available for purchase now, either through comic retailers or Titan Comics themselves!
Doctor Who: The Lost Dimension – Alpha
It’s the start of a brand new arc for the Doctor. This is one of the great instances when we see a massive cast of characters from different incarnations of the Doctor meeting one another. We get a lot of pleasant surprises in the first couple of pages and the appearances continue from there. The chemistry between these characters is also very strong. Overall, there is no doubt that this is a page turner. And we don’t say that often with Doctor Who stories. Definitely worth a read regardless of whether or not you are caught up on other Doctor Who series.
Doctor Who: Eleventh Year Three #9
It’s a new arc with the Doctor, Alice, and the Sapling. They travel to a planet that the Doctor has supposedly been to already. However, it seems as though technology has advanced to a toxic level – literally. In a world that should still be thriving with nature, just what exactly is going on here? And, what exactly is making the Doctor so physically ill? Again, this is the start of a new arc so for new readers jumping in, it’s a great starting point.
Robotech #2
Rick Hunter has just encountered Lynn Minmei and the two are now face to face with an alien monster, a giant humanoid. Does Rick have a chance against this giant humanoid creature? And when the rest of the fighters are called back, what will Rick do? For those who are fans of Robotech, this series is the perfect read for them and it’s nice to see a beloved series returning in some form or another. And for those who are unfamiliar with the series, you may want to read Robotech #1 before jumping onto this one.
The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo – Millennium TPB
We’ve reviewed every issue of The Girl with The Dragon Tattoo and now you can own the entire series in one graphic novel. As mentioned in our reviews, this series is really great to experience the story in a new way. The artwork is amazing and sets up the series as a whole very well. Characters really come alive and fly off the page and readers can look forward to the future stories being told in comic book form. However, if you’re tired of seeing this story play out again, then this might not be the best choice. But definitely check out the future stories that will be adapted.
All the above comics are available through Titan Comics now! Get your copy of your favourite titles today!
