We have grown up watching superheroes of the Justice League fighting crime, overcoming obstacles, and solving problems. With time, we grew up, and so did the Justice League. As of today, there exists a plethora of superheroes in the DC Extended Universe’s Justice League roster. The DC universe is explicit and showed us that even most well-laid plans can fail. Betrayals happen and some friends turn out to be enemies. Maybe that is the reason why android spy apps are so much common these days. No matter how many joined and left the JL there are some that remained in our hearts. We made a list of such characters that defined the Justice League and made it the great protector of realms it is today.

10. Shazam!
Captain Marvel is always overshadowed by the founding members of the Justice League, especially Superman. But it is worth remembering that Captain Marvel is as powerful as Superman and often competes with him. Captain Marvel has the powers of Shazam! Solomon’s wisdom, Hercules’ strength, Atlas’ stamina, Zeus’ power, Achilles’ courage, and Mercury’s speed.
9. Green Arrow
Oliver Queen, the wealthy owner of Queen Industries has a passion to stand for what’s right and fight the crime. The Green Arrow is a highly skilled marksman that never misses the target. Just like Bruce Wayne, he is a human without any superpowers, and his wealth allows him an array of expensive and technologically advanced arsenal that he uses to stand his ground with the world’s most powerful beings.
8. Aquaman
In the 1940’s Aquaman was just a backup for the ground-dwelling superheroes. But a long interval, we learnt that there is more depth (pun intended) to the character than we see. Aquaman is the King of Atlantis and the Ruler of the Seven Seas. That makes him Ruler of 70% of Earth. He possesses amazing powers including, superhuman strength, telepathic control over all aquatic life, and he also holds the Trident of Poseidon.
7. Flash
Flash is a mainstream and well-known superhero. His ability to bend the laws of physics make him an essential founding member of the Justice League. The Flashpoint Crisis and the Crisis on the Infinite Earths shed light on Flash’s importance and his true potential.
6. Green Lantern
Well the Green Lantern’s powers are limitless. Willpower of the bearer drives the Green Lantern’s ring and can construct any thing the user imagines. Though the only weakness of the ring shall be the inability to heal wounds and any power that weakens the mind and concentration of the Green Lantern.
5. Wonder Woman
Princess Diana of Themyscira, the Amazonian warrior is a goddess and has godly strength and willpower. She also possesses arsenal crafted by the magic of the old gods, including the Lasso of Truth, and the indestructible bracelets and tiara. She is among the top 3 most loved DC superheroes.
4. John Constantine
John Constantine is the best anti-hero we have seen in DCEU second only to Batman. Constantine is an expert mystic, but magic is not the only power he has. He is a master conman and manipulator and his intelligence allows him to be a great tactician too. The best thing about Constantine is that even if he dies, he can just resurrect himself back to Earth.
3. Superman
Superman is the most beloved superhero of all time. What makes Superman the leader of Justice League is not only his superhuman capabilities but his sheer will, love, and compassion for human life.
2. Batman
Everyone knows Batman supersedes Superman in intellect. Batman is an expert tactician and manipulator; he is the tactical leader and architect of the Justice League. Being a cynic, Batman keeps every other superhero in check and always has plans if things go south.

This is a shocker, right? The Green Martian J’onn J’onzz also known popularly as the Manhunter from Mars, is a founding member of the Justice League and the core and mentor of the Justice League. Manhunter is among the most powerful beings in the DC Universe and his powers exceeds that of Superman’s. He has a wide array of superpowers including all the powers that Superman possesses plus the powers of shapeshifting, invisibility, regenerative healing, intangibility, Martian nine senses, telekinesis, telepathy, and visions including night, electromagnetic spectrum, and microscopic visions. J’onn also has a genius-level intellect and is a great war strategist.
