3. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Shredder would make a frightening alley to any MCU villain, which would naturally mean those heroes in a half-shell would have to be called upon to lend the Avengers a helping hand. With all the Avengers’ focus on most of them being some form of super solider, it would be rather rad to see the far more naturally-skilled turtles join in the fun. Well, as naturally as you can when you’ve got four creatures basically evolved from toxic sludge who know ninja.
2. Time Lords
Perhaps the most dangerous of alleys the Avengers could call upon, because if any number of Time Lords crashed the party, what ramifications would that have to continuity if the Time Lords started messing with the timeline? Would they have been able to prevent Loki from attempting to destroy the Earth? Stop the Red Skull before he even began to think of world domination? The list is endless with possibilities.
1. International Rescue
Picture it – Captain America would fly Thunderbird 1, Hulk – Thunderbird 2, Iron Man – Thunderbird 3, Hawkeye – Thunderbird 5. Err, I’m not sure who’d be best suited to Thunderbird 4, but surely a fusion of the all-out action/adventure we see regularly in Avengers films mixed with the blitzkrieg rescues International Rescue have to put up with on a daily basis would make one of the most exciting moments in visual entertainment.
