Actors Fans Will See Return to the MCU

The MCU had truly burst with popularity since the first release of Iron Man back in 2008. Since then, there have been well over 20 movies released under the Marvel banner, with plenty more yet to come. With each movie, the MCU grows and develops massively, attracting more fans in the process. This is largely down to the emotion, quality, and acting performances in the films.

Of course, it is no secret that actors come and go in the MCU. In such an action-filled film franchise, there is, of course, going to be deaths of some of the most popular characters. If you have not watched all of the films in the franchise so far, you can consider this your spoiler warning for the content ahead.

Who’s Gone?

Having lost the likes of Tony Stark, Steve Rodgers, and many more over recent films, fans will likely worry about their favorite superhero. From Thor to Hulk, each film release from now on could threaten their life and their future in the MCU.

As well as this, there have also been lesser-known characters who have departed in recent films, such as Gilgamesh in The Eternals and Icarus, who Richard Madden played.  Plus, due to the death of Chadwick Boseman, it’s safe to assume that the character T’Chala will not be returning either.

However, not everything is a secret with Marvel and their releases. Giving fans plenty of notice in advance, there are some actors that will definitely be seen at least one more time in the MCU again. Here are some of the confirmed actors retaining their Marvel role in the future. If you are finding it hard to wait for some of these upcoming releases, don’t worry. Chris Hemsworth

With both Iron Man and Captain America left behind in Avengers Endgame, fans did begin to worry about the future of Thor. However, they will be happy to know that Chris Hemsworth will be starring in a fourth solo movie, Thor: Love and Thunder. The film is set to release in 2022 and will also feature characters from the Guardians of the Galaxy. Considering Thor is one of the few original Avengers left, it is likely that there won’t be too many more performances from Hemsworth as the God of Thunder.

Mark Ruffalo

Again, another surviving member of the original six is Hulk, played by Mark Ruffalo. Fans may have been worried for a period of time during Avengers Endgame that it might be his last performance. However, he did survive and will be part of the MCU moving forward. He is confirmed to be starring in the Disney+ series She-Hulk. This means that we will see Ruffalo on the small screen at least one more time, if not more.

Paul Rudd

Paul Rudd became an MCU favorite following the release of both Ant-Man films. This means it is good news that he is confirmed to reprise his role as Scott Lang for the third instalment of the Ant-Man series. Ant-Man & The Wasp: Quantumania is one of the most anticipated Marvel releases scheduled for the future, and it will be great to see Rudd back in action post Endgame.
