Forget morally ambiguous, what about those of us who want to keep our options open? Yes, Infamous lets you pick your own path. Will you be a righteous hero of the people or a villainous champion of your own interests. Not only does this game draw you into an interesting new world of  heroes and villains but also explores the super hero mythos, looking to understand what makes a hero…or breaks one. With a chubby sidekick at your side and a whole slew of electricity powers, it’s time your you to make some hard choices.

3. Injustice: Gods Among Us

Do I like DC? No. Do I like this game? Yes. That’s how good it is.

With a large roster of your favourite heroes and villains, Injustice comes from the good folks at NetherRealm, creators of Mortal Kombat. And man, does it show. The gameplay is fantastic and goes above and beyond simple fighting game mechanics. With each character having a unique feel and style of fighting, this game is perfect for any DC fan. Not to mention the story is well thought out and guaranteed to impress. Anything else I should mention? You can play as the Joker. Once again… THAT ALONE SHOULD BE ENOUGH!

2. Marvel Ultimate Alliance

Awww yeah! Ever wanted to make your favourite Marvel characters team up? Well now you can. With a roster of over twenty characters to choose from, you can make your own super hero dream team. Thor and Wolverine? No problem. Human Torch and Blade? Sure thing. Deadpool and Howard the Duck? Well… you can’t have everything. But make no mistake, this game is massive in scale. It explores the Marvel Universe with abandon. Your journey will take you from the nation of Latveria to the furthest reaches of the Shi’ar Empire. Let the crossover to end all crossovers commence!

1. Batman Arkham City

Again, hate DC. Again, love this game. Again… that good! If Spider-Man 2 let you feel like Spider-Man, then this game lets you feel like Batman in all his glory. And in a sandbox no less! Explore the dark world of Arkham City as you uncover a mysterious plot by mad scientist Hugo Strange. With all the gadgets you could want, the only thing you need are villains to use them against. Behold! There are more of Batman rouges gallery here than you can shake a batarang at. Penguin, Two-Face, Riddler and of course The Joker all make an appearance along with plenty of side characters. This isn’t just a Batman game. This is THE Batman game (At least until Batman Arkham Origins comes out).

What do YOU think of these games? Do you think they are worthy of a top 10 spot or are you the kind of person who thinks Superman 64 deserves a second chance?  Comments. Write in them. Now. I COMMAND YOU!
