3. “The Greatest Gladiator Match In The History of The World: Son of Krypton Vs Bat of Gotham”.
Those words declared by Lex summarise the epic clash between arguably two of the greatest superheroes of all time perfectly. The main attraction to the film is to see Batman face off with Superman, and the film looks to deliver and then some. The trailer offered a greater look at the epic clash between the two, including the scene from the teaser released days ago.
There’s armoured Batsuits, the batwing, and an angry-looking Superman, all coming together on the big screen. The dreary, raining background only added to what should be an epic battle of wits vs strength.
2. Doomsday Cometh
The long-running rumors are true! DC has surprisingly revealed that Doomsday will be the big bad in the new film. Just imagine the fight scenes between the heroes and Doomsday added to the rumors that the other members of the Justice League are set to appear to try and stop the villain, and we have a very exciting prospect on our hands.
We are led to believe Doomsday is the creation of Lex, with scenes leading up to the big reveal showing that Luthor has got his hands on the body of Zod. What has Zod got to do with Doomsday? How will the heroes stop the villain? There’s also the fact that when Doomsday appeared in the comics, Superman battled with the monster to the death. Could this be the end of Superman? All this is to be answered, and we are excited to see it all unravel in front of our eyes.
1.Trinity Unites
Our number-one spot goes to the first exciting look at the Trinity together for the first time. Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, uniting to try and stop the menacing beast Doomsday.
Wonder Woman looks to be able to hold her own between the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight, as at one point she uses her shield to block an attack from Doomsday.
As stated, this is the first time we get to see three of the most famous and iconic comic characters together on the big screen and we are super ecstatic about it.
Starring Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot and Amy Adams, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit cinema screens in March 2016. It is expected to be one of the biggest films of 2016, and is set to be followed by a solo Wonder Woman outing and part one of a Justice League film in 2017.
