One of the first movies to be released in the MCU was Iron Man, released in 2008. After that, the MCU has given people some crossovers to initiate the creation of Avengers in the year 2012. Nick Fury
Nick Fury, AKA Nicholas “Nick” Joseph Fury, is a former Colonel who has served in the US Army. He is also an espionage veteran and worked for the CIA during the Cold War. He joined S.H.I.E.L.D., which is a covert peacekeeping organization and becomes the first line of defence for mankind. The number of enemies increased as Fury met Vers and helped her recover the human heritage. Later on, Nick gets promoted as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and focused with all his efforts to organize the Avengers Initiative. With the Avengers ready to combat any potential threat, Fury called upon the members of S.H.I.E.L.D when Loki invaded Earth and wanted to steal the Tesseract using the Chitauri Army. Fury and his allies also stopped the Project Insight and killed Pierce. After that, he goes into hiding for some time and continues his efforts to locate and eliminate HYDRA cells. He also worked alongside with Agent Phil Coulson and defeated Jon Garrett and his plans for Project Deathlok. He then promoted Phil Coulson as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. and told him to rebuild the organization. He also helped the Avengers during the Ultron Initiative and built the New Avengers Facility.

Valkyrie
Brunnhilde is one of the Valkyries from Asgard and was part of the elite group. She is now the Queen of the New Asgard. She resided on Sakaar and worked as a bounty hunter. She went into a self-imposed exile until she came across Thor and sold him to the Grandmaster. Joining the Revengers, she escaped from Sakaar and helped Thor to defeat Hela. She also became one of the survivors of the attack by the Black Order and Thanos. She helped the remaining Asgardians before the ship got attacked by Thanos, who kills the remaining forces and survived the Decimation. Valkyrie played a cardinal role to relocate Asgardians in Norway. She was helpless seeing Thor becoming an alcoholic after he kills Thanos and led the Asgardians during the Battle of Earth and led them to victory.

Gamora
Gamora was a former Zehoberei assassin and one of the members of the Guardians of the Galaxy. She became the adopted daughter of Thanos and Nebula’s adopted sister after Thanos killed half of her race. For years, she served Thanos until she betrayed him in an attempt to set herself free. She gets hired to steal the Orb from Xandar and after the Battle of Xandar, started working as part of the Guardians of the Galaxy. She made a deal with the Sovereign to kill the Abilisk and took her sister Nebula into custody and brought her justice in Xandar. She was later sacrificed by Thanos against her will to get the Soul Stone. After the Battle of Earth, she disappears with Quill and the other Guardians.

Groot
Groot is a the sentient, tree-like individual and the best friend of Rocket the Raccoon. They have traveled across the galaxy and picked up bounties until they met Star-Lord, AKA Peter Quill, and Gamora. They got arrested and locked away in Kyln. There they met Drax the Destroyer who agreed to work together to escape and look out for someone who could get them a hefty amount for the Orb. They discovered that the Orb contains one of the Infinity Stones and Ronan the Accuser sought the Orb to put his diabolical plan to work. Groot sacrifices his life to save his friends. With a hope that Groot is going to come back to life, Rocket replants his destroyed body parts. As Groot grows, he stayed with the Guardians. Groot also accompanied Thor and Rocket to Nidavellir on a mission to stop Thanos and from completing the Infinity Gauntlet. They helped him forge the Stormbreaker and used the Bifrost Bridge to join the Battle of Wakanda. He also fought along with Captain America and died when Thanos snapped his fingers and wiped out half of the population of the universe.

Vision
Vision is one of the Marvel characters who is an android, having a synthetic Vibranium body. He was the creation of Ultron and Dr. Helen Cho. He has one of the most powerful space gems on his head that later on turns out to be one of the six Infinity Stones as well. Vision’s body that lied in a Cradle gets stolen by the Avengers. Vision’s body in the Cradle gets repurposed by Tony Stark and Bruce Banner. They uploaded the remnants of J.A.R.V.I.S and on his birth Vision turned out to be a mixture of both Ultron and J.A.R.V.I.S. with a purpose to protect mankind at all cost. The vision became one of the permanent members of the Avengers and then changed sides with Tony Stark in supporting the Sokovia Accord. During the Avengers Civil War, Vision’s newfound feelings for Wanda Maximoff, AKA Scarlet Witch, caused in the accidental injury of War Machine. Later on, he was ambushed by Thanos’ Black Order who wanted to obtain the Mind Stone. He was taken to Wakanda where Shuri attempted to remove the Mind Stone and protect him from the upcoming assault by Thanos. The Black Order interrupted Shuri’s work and Thanos becomes successful in tearing out the stone from his forehead. Thus, completing his quest of collecting all the six Infinity Stones and adding them to his Infinity Gauntlet.
